Formed in 2023, Sorbo Amplio is making waves as the new embajadores de la palabra de la cumbia. Their sound is all about energy, rhythm, and community. Each performance is a full-blown fiesta where the audience becomes part of the show, swept up in the free style dance that only Sorbo Amplio can deliver. Spreading the love of cumbia
It's hard to stand still when Sorbo Amplio is in the room. Melbourne's own embajadores de la palabra de la cumbia (ambassadors of the word of cumbia) are hosting a headline celebration at the Bar Open, bringing their energetic blend of ska, cumbia and freestyle hip hop to life across two live sets.
DJ Soa Gabi will keep the dancefloor moving late into the night, delivering a rhythm heavy selection of global grooves.
