The Fitzroy Pinnacle and Leaps and Bounds are proud to present Creme de la Femme, a celebration of femme and gender non-conforming creatives in Yarra.
Join us on Saturday 15 July for a degustation of visual art and live performance. Plating up at the Fitzroy Pinnacle, Creme de la Femme will showcase a smorgasbord of talent from a diverse selection of Naarm’s most delectable femme and gender non-conforming creatives. Service starts from midday with an entree of visual art by Claudia Garde, Ruby Bergman, Ruby Luo, Spookytits and Trashbag Gherkin, followed by a set menu featuring the finest local produce from Smooch, Barefoot Bowls Club, Hannah Kate, Dilemmas, Ebi Nori, Serpette and Lothario from 3pm onwards. Entry is on the house, bon appetit!
Smooch
“Smooch formed at the butt-end of the last decade and the four-piece immediately were able to harness the raw energy of the Melbourne punk scene with the glamour and bravado of vintage glam rock. Barefoot Bowls Club
Barefoot Bowls Club is a 5 piece musical bunch from Naarm/Melbourne who love hot chips, shaggy hair cuts and good tunes. Prepare your neck for some serious whiplash from their vast variety of genre bending tunes, combined with a compulsive need to bop your head to their catchy ditties. You can expect a little sample of angelic vocal harmonies, a sprinkle of funky bass lines, a pinch of groovy cymbol slapping, a dash of mind bending guitar tones and a huge dollop of lyrics that will get you in the feels.
Hannah Kate
Hannah Kate is a garage rock outfit from Melbourne who have earned themselves a reputation for their raucous live shows and their intelligent brand of rock and roll.
Front woman Hannah Wales has attracted a diverse audience with her exciting songwriting ability, her sense of humour and her DIY attitude.
Dilemmas
The hibernation is over, baby, so prepare to be shaken by the monster that is Dilemmas. A swirling concoction of punk attitude, poetry, driving bass and drums, wailing guitar and blood, lots and lots blood.

Naarm based 5 piece, blending rhythms of post rock, nu-metal, alt , punk and soulful vocals. T_EDD (saxaphone) Ebi Nori (Guitar and Vocals) Harry Leggatt AKA UNO LIZARD (Guitar) Camp Bell (Bass) and Gene Du Vergier (drums). Challenging the outskirts of genre, these cats have reigned in the nu-soul iazz world but coming back to their roots of punk, rock, blues and metal. BIRTH the Phantom Fingers.

With members of Lazertits, Terror Madre, an AC/DC coverband that started and ended at age 11, and a secret BAFTA winning video game designer, Serpette make hard and fast songs that will steal not only the hearts, but also the souls of your crushes.
