Ebonnie Rose
Ebonnie Rose is a Melbourne-based singer-songwriter making waves with her soulful, genre-blending performances. With over a decade of performance experience, she fuses jazz, soul, and reimagined classics with original music, often accompanying herself on keys. A Bachelor of Music graduate (2023), Ebonnie Rose sold out her debut show, Ebonnie Rose LIVE, cementing herself as a compelling and in-demand artist on the Australian live music scene.
Lily Hallawell
Lily Hallawell draws from rock, indie, folk and soul to craft a sound that is distinctly her own. A regular on the Baxter’s stage, Lily brings an intimate and magnetic presence to every performance, pairing expressive vocals with honest, finely crafted songwriting. Backed by a growing catalog and a loyal live following, she is one of Melbourne’s most compelling emerging voices.
Woody Samson
A Melbourne-based multi-instrumentalist, singer-songwriter and DJ, Woody Samson crafts high-energy cosmic pop that reimagines 80s sounds with a future-facing twist. Performing live with guitar, trumpet, synth, percussion and a five-octave voice, Woody is a weekly resident at iconic Melbourne venues including Baxter’s Lot and The Espy, and is one half of the recently formed trio Woody Samson & The Sexy Boys.

EMERGING ARTISTS FRONT AND CENTRE
Sounds Like Tomorrow: a three-night series at Baxter's designed to put emerging artists front and centre, and give audiences a front-row seat to what comes next.
A fresh pairing each evening, a different conversation every night.
Each night introduces a new combination of rising talent - one from That Studio Group, one from Baxter's own pool.
After individual opening sets, both acts will join Baxter’s resident act on stage for a completely unscripted, unrehearsed collaborative jam.
The nights will close with a full headline set from the Baxter’s regular, anchoring the spontaneous energy in a familiar groove.
