• Artist Bios

  New Delica is one of the most promising acts emerging from Melbourne's modern music scene. The brainchild of local mastermind Pat Coyle, the project has been carving out a signature chamber rock sound since 2022. Their debut album 'Ladders and Snakes' draws influence from the music of Father John Misty, The War On Drugs and Leonard Cohen. Since 2023, the band has independently released four albums, evolving into the DIY powerhouse they are today.

New Delica was born in Melbourne's dive bars and backyard shows. Since 2023, the group has evolved into a prolific DIY machine known for their unique strain of contemporary rock and a dedicated live following. Returning to The Catfish stage after previous packed-out residencies, they will be taking over the venue with two massive sets - both free and all-ages.
