Downstairs bar is accesible but the bandroom is upstairs.
The ground floor of Nighthawks is wheelchair accessible apart from the back deck, and there is an accessible toilet as well as an ambulant toilet.
However, as we are housed in an original heritage building and our bandroom is located on the second floor, this aspect of the venue is not wheelchair friendly.

CRANING
Craning slice through you like high beams on the M1. They draw from the clanging and scraping of worksites and industrial estates across Queensland to generate tense, panic-inducing music. As Meanjin expats, they kneel at the altar of the world-class though oft underrated and under-documented music of Brisbane DIY and its skyline of grotesque manmade horrors. Last year they released a record called Distress Tolerance. This year they moved to Naarm. Work is underway.
BAGLICKER
A genre-bending five piece that has been coating the ears of Naarm with their heavy-laced narcopunk. Their set blends punk, metal & club influences into a mutating wall of sound.
WORLD SICK
With a sound that veers between shoegaze, Midwest emo, screamo and self-professed sadgaze, World Sick have supported national and international artists, including June of 44, Codeine, Deafcult, Ceres, Emperor X, and Tigers Jaw. Their loud, harsh and anti-social stage presence has won them rave reviews and a tight but passionate cohort of loyal fans: the sort of band your favourite band thinks you should go and see.
World Sick's most recent release, Timing is Everything, takes the band's mix of melodic and harsh, twinkly and distorted, to its logical conclusion. Midwest melodies fight to be heard against dissonant guitars and droning feedback, all over the top of a pounding rhythm section that refuses to quite let the chaos take over.
GIL CERRONE
Gil Cerrone approach screamo with extremity and violent intensity of feeling, howling their way through frenetic and raw songs with precision and fervour. Frantic Screamo and lush Post-Hardcore weaved into a tapestry of chaos and beauty.
Melbourne's Gil Cerrone play an all consuming, cathartic and emotionally driven Post-Haardcore/Skramz
