Storytime with The Reginas, a punk-inspired, raucous and frank feminist comedy cabaret show is a perfect vehicle to represent Harehole Melbourne for this year’s Leaps & Bounds live music festival.

As participants and curious observers in this life, The Reginas explore everyday happenings and observations to plumb life’s variety in their show. The Reginas are politically engaged, sometimes engaged & be it on or offstage, reject a society that accepts and condones misogynist values.

Through storytelling, song and colourful antics, they share their day-to-day vulnerabilities, taking their audience on an off-beat journey that explores social quirks that we are all silently familiar with.

The Reginas: Emily Weavers, Frankie Pickles and Dawn Iris Dangkomen. Feminists. Passionate. Musos. Through music, banter, humour and even sometimes poetry we explore topics such as the impact of past and present misogyny, how we deal with anxiety, what is it to be human and the concept of kindness. We play an eclectic mix of genres ranging from beautiful piano ballads to fun, fiery punk.
